Found a teddy bear brooch in the woods today. It was 4 inches down and in the middle of nowhere. Appears to be pewter, based on the corrosion and the color of the metal. I think it may be old, but I'm not positive. Couldn't find one on eBay or with a Google search, so I need some help. Any guesses as to it's age would be appreciated.

it has a 'modern' safety clasp, which dates it 1930's to present. My personal opinion is that it's probably 1950s

Jewelryguy is the expert on this one and as a badge collector for decades, I concur. I see this older style of catch on badges from the late 30's to the 60's. Congrats on a bearable find. Sub 8-)

Any chance of a pic on a plain background ? Your big mitt messes with the image search

Sorry! Here's a couple of pics with a white background.

Could be from the 1950's, but there should be a few on eBay if it's from that era. I'll keep looking for one...
