I got back out for a couple more hunts this weekend. Mostly broke's but got lucky and caught what looks like a intact Guilford type. I found two other pieces that are kind of interesting also. One is the small leaf shaped point with a broken tip, and the other is that small bird point that looks like it was made from a flake. Both are a little unusual from the norm that I pick up around here. The longer blunt stemmed piece I believe was probably used for a lance? Have a good week everyone..HH IMG_0499.webpIMG_0505.webp I almost forgot to mention the rose quartz core, It is a nice material for this area, I hope to find some pieces made from it some day.IMG_0509.webp

Nice finds! I Hope you find a nice point made of rose quartz. That would be sweat HH!

thanks.. it would be nice. I know they are out there somewhere. I found a broke Halifax point awhile back that had a rose vain running through it. But nothing solid like what was probably made out of that core.

Those are some great finds! I love rose quartz and don't find much here but it would be awesome to find a point made from it.

You know Im going to tease you rite? Nice Quarts Points :)
