Found a rock with my metal detector?!

Not the first time having rocks ring up . We call them Hot Rocks in Virginia. I hunt a field locally that every other signal is a hot rock.

Yah we have them here too in my area, but we also have a large silver vein right through my town as well that's why I'm curious about this one.

...I'm curious about this one.

I take all my "hot rocks" and put them into a bucket until the bucket is full.

Once the bucket is full I break the rocks in half to see which side is still hot while discarding the parts that are not. I repeat the steps until finding something in the rock or discarding the waste.

I run my detector over the waste, and if it detects something I separate half into another bucket and repeat the steps until I find something or simply learn the rocks won this time against me...lol.

Hi. I can't see much in the pictures except a black mass. Try running a magnet over it first and see if it attracts.
