With my MD broken and classes started back up I have been unable to get out and dig. But my buddy had this rusted container and upon closer look it says it is some kind of rocket container from 1945. Any help to identify exactly what this is would be greatly appreciated. Also, I gave him $10 for it so I guess I am wondering if it was a good investment?

I think the inscription says:
2[SUP]n[/SUP] 25 ROCKET CONTAINER MK2 MOD 10
439193 1 R.V. (US ANCHOR SYMBOL) F.S.P 1945

Here's the training manual for the rockets you can see your box a little less than half way down..... OP 1187 2.25 SCAR

10$ is a good deal on the box, I'm sure you would get more out of it if you wanted to sell.
