Paid $40 for the lot. I feel like I got a good deal, let's see what you think ;)

These have some die varieties. I think it's 3B, based on the criteria at the bottom of the page.

I think you did pretty good. I like the hard times token, but not sure what it's worth. Personally, I feel the half is probably valued in the 80 dollar range

good job pulling the trigger on that, you did well w/ the comm and HT token, play "favorite Uncle" w/ the other, not worth much there.

that lexington half is nice! i actually just started collecting commemotive halves..and those go for much more than 40 alone...great haul!

Even in that condition? It is circulated.

Good haul! The commemoratives are cool. The Colombian one is very common but the Lexington is not.

Thumbs up, :icon_thumright: I'd be scared to make offers like that. My luck I'd get all lemons !! :BangHead: Well as they say, :dontknow: nothing ventured nothing gained so good job !! :occasion14:

Keep @ it and HH !! :hello2:

I had a good idea what I was getting, and I made the offer that was accepted. Without intricate knowledge of commemorative halves I was basing my offer off current melt value minus a middleman fee... so my $40 was broken down thus:

$7 per half (=$14)
$8 for the LC (=$22)
$2/ea for IHCs (=$34)

I guessed the "cent" was a hard times token but had never heard of it. I'd seen the Philippine centavo pattern before, knew it to be territorial but didn't actually ID it until I got home. The V nickel is in bad shape and to me was a freebie, so I rounded up to $40, and they accepted. Seems I lucked out, again :)

It may be circulated, but from the pics it still looks to be XF-AU. Hard for me to tell from the pics. Anyway you go thats a very nice haul for $40.
