Hi Folks!

Well, we finally got a break from all the heat we've been having here in Alabama. Yesterday was a perfect day to go detecting at the fort where I always go hunting. Started off finding a few wheat pennies here and there, when I got a good dime signal at 3" deep. Dug the target and found my first merc of the day ;)

A few hours or so later, I got a nice dime signal again at 2-1/2" deep and was surprised to see these three mercs laying in the same hole :o After retrieving the mercs, I swung the coil again and dug three wheat pennies that were still in the same hole ;)

I had to reward myself by doing my famous hat trick...the famous AU break dance once again! ;D Shucks, I even had a few fans watching me ::)

Here's the mercs all cleaned up :) (wheat pennies not shown)

Well, that's it for now folks! Thanks for looking. Until next time..... ;)

Nice day! That fort sounds like it will keep you occupied for a long time.

Thanks halfdime ;) I've been detecting the fort over four years and the place keeps giving up loads of silver. I don't think I'm gonna stop detecting there anytime soon ;) No other place that's close to my home I've found like the fort.

Thank you Jim ;) It's unusual finding more than one silver in the same hole. I've gotten lucky over the years. I've found as many as eight mercs in the same hole a few years back at the fort :) Haven't beaten that record yet.

way to go man thats some sweet finds ;D

humm 43,43 and 44 mercs in the same hole? see a 3 years pattern --- hows about the pennies? 3 in a row years wize?

Thanks Ivan ....haven't had a chance to check out the dates off the pennies since they're still dirty, but will clean tonight and post with those dates. I would imagine they are from the '40's.

Hello James

Real nice dimes, cong. Thanks for the laugh caused by the picture of the celeb. break dance. . I believe it's called break dancing because of the probability of someone breaking something,
so be careful. :D I loved your post.

C.B. :)
