I can tellyou it is NOT to a teepee...I have a teepee and rope is used (or whatever equivilated for rope in those days.).

You could have an unusual Adena artifact, they are rare, but they pop up, things that have more religious context than useful context. You had mound builders there in Ohio (even in central to western PA>) some strange artifacts have come out of Ohio, one of the best being the Adena pipe:

mound builder artifacts are certainly much different looking than traditional native American artifacts.
