Evening to all again !! , I posted this find a little while ago, but being a computer dummy & screwing around ,I seemed to have deleted it. Soooooo here goes again. :tongue3: Went to my friends house today, where I had found a circa 1900-1915 gold & diamond Masonic ring a little while back. Today he was doing some interior demo , so I went ahead of him room to room with the GTI. At the corner of the door to the main bedroom I got a LOUD signal where the door trim meets the base trim, grabbed a pry bar, pulled the piece of base trim off,and this token was staring at me  wonder how long it sat behind that trim ???? Will be going back next weekend, wish me luck, :icon_pirat: HH

Cool find!I'll bet that someone used that token as a shim back in the day..

Once again I salivate.

Been digging a few myself, will post soon, but man, the condition of the ones we dig out here
are horrible! Only successful way to really get the crap off is to use the vinegar and water.
Electrolysis isn't as effective. You are really hitting the mother-lode with all the mining camp finds.
We in Denver salute you!

Thanks Carl !! Have you ever tried " Wink" it is a toilet bowl rust remover, much stronger than the white vinegar. But you have to watch it constantly or it will pit your tokens. I must say it was real nice to find a token that I didnt have to clean !! HH

Nice token Charlie! I tried my luck at Cripple Creak once and only found a Bronco Billy's $1 gaming coin. Not very old but kinda fun to find. The hotel keeper from where I stayed even let me hunt her old yard but I only found nails and a screwdriver.

HH!
