need more pics for better identification

TMike12, Welcome to the forum. You should place this post on the "What is it" board for best response. You NEED: PHOTOS of all surfaces with a measuring device in the photos, Your guess on what material it is made of, HOW you came into possession of this, i.e., dug it up, given to you, garage sale, thrift shop, etc... You will receive many expert opinions if you follow my suggestion, I am sure. Cheers, Sub 8-)

THATS A BIG BIG CROSS....

It appears to be a large golden cross ?
I’m sure of it.

Here is a better picture

I found this cross and had to restore it. It suffered a lot of deterioration. It was totally black and brown when I found it. I'm thinking Peruvian but I'm not sure.

Welcome...

Nice find, and a good job in "cleaning it up".

Please, any information would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like an Irish Catholic Celtic Cross/Crucifix. it's missing the Crucifix/Christ part as you can see by the holes where it had been riveted.

VERY NICE FIND!

Kace

Was that dug?
That is a great find.

I actually found this at a local Goodwill. I could not believe how dirty it was but it came out great.

It looks so much like gold. I want to test it. I'll keep posted

Can't identify it, but I can sure drool!!

Nicely done, and all the best,

Lanny

I also think it's brass , and i like the Irish/Celtic theory mmentioned earlier as well. Nice find !

Very nice looking, and great clean up job.
