I found 2 of them in the last box. Seems like such a waste of taxpayer money to be minting these coins that nobody uses any more.

Well it did make it into circulation!

I had a box a couple months ago that had eighteen 2017 halves, both P and D. Kept the best one of each mintmark and tossed the rest back.
