found my first buffalo nickle

tried this new site today
and the first two coins i found were a 36 wheaty and a unknown date buffalo nickle
i was stoked to get my first old nickle.
anyone know what years the buffalos were made.
oh and i also found a 5 MP didgital camera with puoch and new batteries about a month ago and it wasnt claimed so i took it on this trip and took this pic with it...

Maybe I am to tired this morning...where is coin in pic? The Buffalo nickels were 1913 to 1938.

imafishinnutt- way to go.. I love Indians: buffs and cents ......the buffalo has such great workmanship ....trouble is when they come out of the ground they are usually not in good shape....something with the materials used to mint them....also the raised date gets smoothed over.....I always look on the back for the three legs......mint mark is on the back under the five cents..aloha johny mc..........area probably has some mercs...where there are buffs there are mercs.

Good stuff ! I only have three with good dates on them and I have found 15 of them. :-\
