Found my First Cob Today!!!

Sorry for the crappy pictures...my camera is FUBAR so I had to use my BlackBerry. I think it's a 1674 1 reale but any information from the crappy pics would be appreciated.

1674 1 Real (Potosi mint) is correct... Two dates visible, actually - date between the pillars and date below the cross are both clear. Solid piece, no cleaning needed beyond the brushing off of that loose dirt.

What region was it found in?

Thanks for the confirmation. Yeah, the pictures do this coin no justice...it is in amazing condition with very clear details. I'll get some better pics up on Monday.
