Hi fellow detectorists. Here's the finds from a hunt I did a few days ago. Just had the chance to post now. Walked an old cart road and past a few cellar holes and came up with my first fatty IH (1863). It took second place IMO for I also was fortunate to nab another intact medium crotal bell in the old road. That's something like #14 for me in the past 3 years - nuts. Also dug the typical common fare of 1800s stuff which you can view on the BTV Digger video channel. The ticks and black flies are out something ferocious in the Vermont woods now. Keep the permethrin and bug spray close by! HH and good luck to you all.

Hey, they are great Finds, while us out West hardly find stuff that old at all..,
well, MOST of us, that is...! That Indian Head Cent of yours, I'd be proud to own,
as I have a 1864 bronze IH coin, and very few others, so........SMILE! :icon_thumright:

Nice looking petal crotal! I'd be a happy guy, too...I'm liking relics and buttons over coins these days. I'd actually take that ox knob over most IHPs (not that fatty though, as it has eluded me:laughing7:).

Good digs

nice.................................:icon_thumleft:

Very nice crotal bell there. Nice old fatty too. Just enough cool old relics to call that a really nice hunt.

Way to keep vt on the board. congrats

all were very cool finds and some are bucket listers for a lot of us. congrats

Congratulations on your finds. That is a very nice bell.

Congrats on the nice goodies! :occasion14:
Looks like a pretty good day out swinging!

Congrats on your finds. I like that Crotal Bell.

It's always nice to recover an IHP, even better when it is a Fatty, but I agree,, the condition of that bell makes it a killer find.
Congratulations
