Found my first Indian head today!

I had to work for the last 12 days so this was my first hunt since that. I found the Indian head in the middle of a corn field also found a few other trinkets in the field. I found another 1 of those little 36 cal CSA pistol bullets! Never thought I'd dig another on of them. Found a six pack of 44 revolver bullets, 1 early 44 revolver bullet, another type of gun tool, nice frag, and bunch of other bullets.

I started the day by giving the land owner a display case with 24 nice bullets to show my appreciation for the permission to hunt there and he was very happy with that.

Congrats on the IH cent! And very nice of you for giving the landowner such a nice display!! More people should be as thoughtful as you. When I detected in England this summer I made sure to give the farmer and his wife a couple nice gifts too -- they were very kind to allow me on their property. Best, Erik

Nice gesture on the bullets. Today on a short hunt I found an IH and immediately gave it to the homeowner who was working in his yard. I didn't even get to check the date. But I went on to find two more IH's and a wheatie.

He was very surprised...I was showing him the bullets in the case and explaining what they all were and then told him it was for him and at first he said I should keep them I found them. I told him that I made this display for him and he was really happy and thanked me several times.
