Found my lost sailor boy

Found the sailor boy on Dec 31, lost him and found him again today along with the other items at a new site I am hunting on. I have yet to use the MD out there, everything has been surface finds. Another marble, and musket ball?? I think it's a lead weight. The Indian artifacts are kinda hard to see on the scan, but you can see the works. 1st time to find a multiple colored arrowhead...that's a pride for me. Plus much more pottery (not pictured). The dime was found on the side of the road next to my car.

I'm not even sure if he's the Cracker Jack guy, but he was unique & wanted to keep him for "show & tell". After the 3 of us finished walking the hunt site, we placed all our finds on the tailgate of the truck. That was the last I saw of him, I looked on NY's day with no luck. Yesterday, when I parked the car on the side of the road, I just walked a little bit more and found him. So, I had no hole in my pouch...but he's in a safe spot staring down as me from the shelf next to my monitor. I think it may had been a clasp attached to the back judging the rusty area.

Nice finds, RR.... I'm gonna need to hook up with all y'all around this area... All this fishin, huntin, and more huntin...

I'm thinkin 'bout going to Fontainbleau Park's beach... Will have to use Jerry Lee (the tender for the sailboat) to get there, as they haven't opened the gate fer business.... Then I'm thinking about boatin out by the Madisonville Lighthouse to see if there might be anything 'round where the old keepers house used to be...

I've been looking on Google Earth to look around the lake to see where sand bars and such are located... I can get a good lat/long position off the cursor, and then program it into my handheld GPS... Yeah, I'm scheaming...
