Found pendant today

So yesterday I was detecting an old cart road used in the 1800's and found this pendant. It has a "F" on one side and I believe I can read "Reward if Returned" on the other side. I was thinking maybe a tag for an animal or maybe a charge coin? any Ideas?

Cool tag,, it may have a contact number under the crud.
Have you tried to clean it?

I have been rubbing it a bit and I keep getting a few more letters showing up. I wanted to scrape it with a toothpick a little but was afraid the lettering might come off with the patina.

I think it is a Vintage Firestone Key Fob. Nice find. HH
