Found Silver Eagles today! Picked up 6 boxes of Halves

A couple of banks had Silver Eagles, But I think they know about silver prices. They were asking $52-$55 they also had those 1 oz silver coins for weddings, birthday, ect. for $49. I did not buy any silver eagles I thought they were to high! My girls and I went through the 6 boxes of halves tonight and they were not happy no funny noised coins.

thats too bad about the skunks, and the eagles are WAY over priced...i just bought some 2 days ago for $1.50 over spot...keep searching, i hope u hit a mega dream score!!!

I found a guy that has 100 SAEs and wants $41 each. I wish I had some extra cash right now.

Thats still a bit high. You should be able to get them for around $2 over melt.

Where did you find them at $1.50 over spot? DO they have more? I'd be a buyer of ... a fair amount ... if I could get some at $1.50 over spot. Let me know if it was somewhere that you can share.

I work for a dealer that sells wholesale (boxes of 500 count). Currently there's a big shortage on Eagles (wholesale at least) with the price spike in the last two weeks. When we had them early this month, we charged about 2.50 per coin for sealed 2011 boxes. Now, its close to 2.90

If you can find them right now for around $2 - $5 (considering retail prices over wholesale) hop on it. I didn't know banks sold them, but I'll be hitting up my bank tonight when I go to pick up some more rolls.
