found silver, gold, lost Excal knob

Found a silver chain in the wet sand marked .925 Italy, an owl pendant made of genuine plastic set in diecast, a " Wet and Wild " rental token, fishing tackle, some clad, lotta pull tabs, and a 14kt ring with 12 small diamonds which was chest deep at low tide. Gave a noisier signal than most rings.
Lost the top of a knob in the water. What is the best fix ? Just glue it over ?

If U want you can replace all the knobs with alum ones from Radio Shack. Get the ones about 6 mm. with the stainless set screw that are used on speakers an such. Take in the Excal for a right fit.......

Genuine plastic owl huh......I never found one of them. great job.........

Nice Silver and Gold Teklord - I just used some plastic glue on it and one spot on each side so if you need you can take it off to tighten the nut - Minelab says they're suppose to stay in without glue but they don't - Cavedweller

excal knobs------------------not the best part of the unit for sure

like sandman said.............radio shack and not sure of the 6mm, but do not get the small ones - i changed the threshold and volume on many of mine when they were brand new-------------saves on the cussing later
