Found some colonial with screwynewy today

Found my second oldest coin today a King George III 1770-1775 candle snuffer pewter cone silver flat huge dandy button pewter handle . it was funny a thing about the coin screwynewy and myself just got finished talking about finding all the buttons but no coins and then bang there it is roundness in the hole oh the sweet nectar!!! more of the snuffer

Shame those KG's come out so toasted. Same with most of mine, but I still like finding them. Many, if not most of the KG III's found are contemporary counterfeits. They made a lot of them light weight and passed them off as regal halfpence.

Nice finds Dan. I'm glad one of us was able to pull a colonial coin out of this site - I just wish it was me . Funny how we had just talked about the fact that there had to still be some there. Enjoyed digging with you.
