Found The Barrel, And Some Silver

Got out today with fmerg and eric. Found the barrel to a gun, 2 silver war nickels, 1 worn indian, 5 wheaties, and a rivet with a star on it. Pretty fun stuff. All I can make out on the barrel is what looks like Wilson's Welded Steel??

Looks like a shotgun barrel and with the "welded steel" designation on it I would lean towars it being a damascus type barrel.

I'll bet a couple of the gun experts will chime in soon.

what you have my friend is an old single shot shot gun barrel,nice find all the way around,might not be a bad idea to go back an see if you can find the rest of it .
