It's in the Genes, my Grandparents lived to 95 & 94.
Last year, while interviewing a lady (104), I told her: don't you know those cigarettes may kill you.
We had a good laugh, she lived one more year after that.

Fossis.................

My grandmother's family has all lived a very long time thank God....she is 84 now and still going strong and I sure hope she makes it to 104!

I don't know if I want to live to be that old ::) That's remarkable to have been a coal miner :icon_sunny:

yup

That is great, to live to be over 100. I hope he had a good quality of life. My wife's grandmother lived to be 99 and died just short of her 100th birthday, only problem she had advanced 'altimeters' disease and did not know anybody. She could carry on a conversation with you but was not very aware otherwise. It was sad because I knew her for many years and watched her decline.

Longevity means nothing without the quality of life.
