Found these last week on top I need help on bottom

Got me a place to go now, found these on top of a hill over some bottoms and two creeks. My problem is to me its like looking for a needle in a pile of needles. How ya do it? Where do you concentrate? on the gravel bars, in the water, high up on the banks, I walked the creek for a half mile and didnt see anything that looked like a point. Please give me some clues. This is all new to me and I love it, just like metal detecting it trips my trigger you know. Heres a picture or two of my finds and the creek bottom. Congrats on the finds , looks like your on the right track.I'd look all over the site,that creek looks like a killer one to shallow not to big rocks to trap artifacts.keep on lookin...

the point in bottom pic is a autauga or an ecusta point.both types are very simialar,early archaic is the time peiod on both.nice finds.keep hitting those creeks.looks like a great location.

These finds come from Missouri and the types you named wouldn't be correct for the area. Judging by the other pieces that he found that point is probably a Matanzas or some sort of hopewell that is hard to identify. In Missouri there shouldn't be many heat treated early archaic types as a general rule of thumb.
