Is it the 1987 Silver Dollar or the half dollar?

Score! You never know what you'll find at a pawn shop. I once picked up a 1900 O/CC Morgan dollar for $45 at a pawn shop. Sent it off to NGC and came back graded MS64! Never pass them up - and check back often!

You are lucky, the old man and dad must have been out, and left the shop to the boy for the day! :laughing7:

LOL YEP THE 1987S proof was a dollar (i don't think they made any halts of those coins) but i could be wrong but i think i am actually right. i felt like a million bucks now only if i can start digging better stuff!

Nice<you didn't have to Dig for it

They did make halves that were not silver. I just sold the exact same 87-S Proof Silver Dollar at my flea market for $30 so yes you did great!

Exellent find from the pawn shop.
