Found this on the banks of the Ohio river back in September, need help to identify it

I would say that it's a hoe or spade. It's very similar to one that I found long ago. Actually the first artifact that I ever found. Nice find!
 

You're not going to like this answer but I am very confident that is just a piece of naturally weathered limestone. I find pieces just like that along the Ohio River in Scioto county Ohio.
 

I have to go along with Reaper it doesn't show use on any of the ends from what I can see. That's mother nature doing her thing.
 

Yes it does look natural and it could be real water worn but Im not from your area so I would say Grim is correct due to he is from your area and has walked the rivers in your state.
 

Even Charlie Browns finds a rock once in awhile. Thanks for the info guys.
