Really heavy, blew out the AT in the low iron range...threaded inside...seems to have one small hole down by open end, perhaps for a pin? Original thought was wagon wheel nut but not sure. Any ideas?

Are there any markings on it? I think I see a couple of letters in the center pic, but can't zoom in.

What state was it found in.

Bet that did blow out the low on the AT:thumbsup:

I'll clean it up tonight and see if there's anything on it. Found it in Frisco Texas...

Looks like a spindle hub socket, but one made to be used with a wrench. Round inside and a small hole where a pin used to be. Like for the hummer. View attachment 1331027

Thanks everyone! Still not totally sure but hanging on to it...question, does it hurt the value of old iron things such as this to clean them up? Meaning, cut all the rust off etc? I believe that hurts coin values....not sure about other items..
