With the winds changing to blowing S-Se, I decided to brave the heat once again this morning...Finally atleast a small breeze blowing off the ocean..No more bugs either !!
Started up really high in the powdery groomed sand and after about 15-20 mins I was getting ughhh...Headed down to just above the high tide line and the first non trash hole I dig is the ladies 14K White Gold ring...Woo Hoo !
I can now finally say that I am no longer a gold ring virgin in the soft sand , since returning to the hobby
It's nice to know that Frantic City finally rewarded me with my first
The big gold earring I am going to assume is junk metal as there are no markings, but will throw it in a keepers pile to be safe...
After just short of three hours, the sun and sweat had me on my final legs, so I called it a day..
Overall I am very pleased with the hunt...
After finding the ring I decided to pick up any and all bottlecaps that were visible or near the surface..It looks like more digging than it actually was..
I cleaned up the ring and gave it to the wife
The Mike's bottlecaps I'll be saving for their safe return to one of my hunting partners
Good Luck & Happy Hunting to you all....
