Wow. That sure is beautiful, friend. I imagine Colorado isn't much for detecting, but it sure makes up for it in beauty.

Right Diggit, lots of active mining claims in this area so don't even pan. I got a bunch more pics, but I'm havin a hell of a time figurin out how to post them. This one came from my third try. I suppose I can read instructions if I had any, but I really got better things to do with my time. I think about it and come back later today and look it over and try to figure it out. If not, well adios, y'all like to look at pics of Colorado, buy a camera, come up here and take em yourselves. That yellow 'auto-saved' thing that keeps flashin is aggravating too.

Well Ron it's different, with a lot of unnecessary bells and whistles, I think. But I'll have it figured out soon. I see they have a 'like' button, but it would have been cooler to have a 'you can kma' button, and allowing us to say 'wa****a' when talking about arrowheads. Wonder if it censors Spanish? Orale cabrones!

I had trouble posting my first pic also. I needed to enlarge the screen with "BROWSE" on it so I could click on the "UPLOAD" button in the lower-right of the screen. I think you can browse for 4 or 5 pics and then upload all of them. If you do a reply and want to post I "Think" you have to select "Advanced" if you want the option to add a pic to your response.

Well I'll be damned, there they are. This is way too difficult for the average person to post pics on, so I guess I'm above average. We'll probably lose a lot of folks cause this process is not 'user friendly' for the lowest common denominator, like me. But we'll see. Anyway. I went out to French Gulch east of Breckenridge today, which involved way less time than tryin to post these pics, as it turned out. Lots of money came out of the ground out there. Placer, hardrock, and dredge mining. The Extenuate (sometimes spelled 'X10U8') started up in 1880 and ran until 1970. The Country Boy mine is still in business, but I think they make most of their money from givin tours to tourists and letting them pan for gold. DO NOT come in here and detect or pan, as all the claims are active. But lookin is ok.

This picture posting works just like some other forums I am on. One is a Pontiac forum and it only allows one upload at a time and five per post ( That's clear as mud, isn't it?). I too had to enlarge the post screen to see the upload button.
