Thanks. In this trench there was a 105 mm USA gun. Do you have some idea about purpose of this clip? Can it secure 105 mm bullets before firing? Do you have some old photos that show it?

Like can be seen on it there is the word METER. So the measure is in mm. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for precious informations. This manual is very useful for parts of 105mm gun but I believe the object is part of bullets of 105mm. Do you have a manual for bullets of 105 mm? Thanks again!!
