I was hearing some rustling in the woods behind my house and was curious to see what has been living on my property so I went out and bought a trail cam. I got it late last month and have been having fun using it, I put it in the back of my property near a shed and put an apple or a small piece of lunch meat to draw the animals to the trail cam.

Anyone else have some cool trail cam photos that they would like to share??

The opossum shows up a lot, it's a pretty big one too. These are from last night :)

Also set it on video mode one night, I put out a piece of turkey lunch meat and some old cantaloupe for it. I put the clips together to make it more interesting to watch.

Don't have trail cam, but we've seen the possums, skunks, & cats,

My yard does not have much visible activity, I have never seen an opossum in my backyard and only rarely see skunks at night, the only time I see anything is on my trail cam. I guess it is because they are nocturnal and make it best to stay away from people. Luckily there is nothing we have that they could be an issue to, garbage is kept inside the porch until the weekends when we take it to the dump, my two goats and chicken are locked in a sealed above ground coop at night, even in the day there is a big chain link fence for them. The only interesting animals that I have seen in my yard, besides on the trail cam, are rabbits (mainly at night), though I have heard an owl too, probably wants the rabbits :)

Point it at your roof tomorrow night and maybe you will see some deer and a fat dude in a red suit! Lol. Happy holiday[emoji319]

This is kind of funny.

These pictures were taken 45 minutes after I walked BEHIND the tree this was fastened to. The images are blurry because the doe snozzed on the lens!

Of course, I didn't see antlers from mid-Nov to the end of season yesterday.

Last spring we had two deer in the back yard early morning...I thought I was seeming things till I stuck my head out the back door! Ran for the camera, but the battery was dead in it. We also have a bunch of turkeys roaming the neighborhood (besides the neighbor's. :D).

Last night something buried the food I put out and spread it through the woods. Unfortunately the SD card was not put in correctly :(

We have a large mountain ash in our side yard. Last fallat 4 in the morning I step in a huge pile of grizzly bear crap. Great feeling! Neighbors seen him a couple times. I need one of those cameras.
