Spied some promising looking ground in the forested section of some public access land and picked through the modern trash for a few vintage goodies, thank you for looking and happy hunting to all :metaldetector:

To see the silver of a small coin in a place like that has to be such a rush- I'd be thinking, this could be anything- trime, Reale, tree coin??? Very nice Barber, Congrats!!
thank you Jeff, well said and an awesome part of this hobby imo :) the dime cleaned up nice wishing it was a 1893 but I'll take it for sure!

Nice silver!
Liking the other items also, then again anything embossed has my attention.
Need to do a little probing around for the older glass that might be buried.
thanks pepper I think I found the privy, I need to go back but I'm going to digstock packing right now...I'll let you know for sure!

I think he just recovered the top. The barrel it attached to must still be out there somewhere,
indeed very junky site unfortunately all public access cellar holes seem to double as dumps for those who avoid landfills so just kind of a mixed bag

Looks like you had to fight your way through some pretty dense brush. Your efforts sure paid off. Great collection of finds. Love the baseball dreidel. Don't think I've ever seen one before. The 1800's silver ain't too shabby either.
