Galena chunk

Went out in the mountains today as I tend to do once or twice a week. Decided not to take the detector so I could get around the larger rocks with ease. Found this piece of Galena. I plan to cut off the back side 1 1/2 inch parallel to face.

Sure it's galena? There are some similar looking minerals in your state that make the Geiger counter happy. But whichever, it's a nice find. I've found galena in PA and NJ.

Positive. tested it myself with acids and showed a geologist I know. It's also found in my area.
