I spent My afternoon in the lake at GAR Park, the beach is about a ¼ of a mile wide with a creek coming into the lake in the middle of the beach.
I started my hunt at the mouth of the creek, it had a trough 3 to 4 foot deep.
The first hour or so I was all alone and then a couple of Jerks moved in on my hole.
I just moved down the beach some more. In an hours time I did Not even find a Pull tab, Nothing at all in that hole.
I did find some clad change and 5 Rings and a lot of junk farther down the beach.
4 rings are junk, 1 little 10k with a Heart shaped Green stone.
The Copper Ring look like it was hand made but I do not think that it is old enough to have been from any of the GAR Reunions.
My first trip to the GAR Park was a strike out.

Thank You every one.
I did have a lot of fun and I did find Gold, so I can’t whine to much.
The penny was a 1957, sad shape.
The other thing I found is a Wicked Sun Burn
