I have had my Apex for about 3 weeks, it is very good at finding coins in this crappy soil we have here. The neat thing is I was worried about the battery going down while I was out detecting, I found my cell phone charging battery will plug into the charge port of the Apex. The detector goes back on line. The battery I use as a back was made by Sony, I assume any recharge battery would work.

I also use the replacement screen protector for my I phone to cover the Apex display. Works great an is easy to replace when it get scratched or hard to see. The original display will be in good shape. Just some of the ideas I have had with the Apex. Stay well an good hunting. Jim

Interesting, I didn't know the Apex has a charge port.
