Hi,
I had to get out of detecting 4 yrs ago , due to knee problems. I sold my Whites DFX(sadly)
Now I am retired and my 32 yr old son has become hooked on detecting and wants me to go with him. I am thinking about getting a Garretts AT Pro.(knees be damned!! lol) I know it's not the same class machine as the Whites DFX.....but whats the verdict on this detector?
Thanks......Happy New YEAR!!!!

I had a friend send mine and his back and they should be back soon. Maybe I won't have to tie a cinder block to it and take it for a short boat ride after all. Maybe I should buy another one and take the old one out to target practice. But I won't and just use the better detectors if it comes back sick again.
