garrett cx users

i picked up a garrett cx the outher day and some rechargable 2500ma c cells for it .it is not geting any volts out of the plastic battery holder terminals. is their any know problems with the battery packs or a source for a replacement battery pack ? thanks for looking at this post.

You might want to check the inside of the battery box and see if the spring has come lose or that the wires have separated from the opposite side, If your handy enough you might be able to solder these if thats whats causing it. Or you can contact Garrett and inform them the situation regarding the problem. Have had a couple times sending things to Garrett and they fixed it including updating the coil with newer model. Garrett still sells the battery packs for the CX. At least that is what they told me last week. I can't find my rechargeable battery pack and emailed them. They have the C cell packs, but not the rechargeable ones.
