Garrett, Why do you not make your Pin Pointers In "Bright Florescent Orange"? Why are they black? Why do you not offer them in colors that could easily be spotted when left on the ground like florescent Orange?

how about coverning it in fluorescent paint/ tape? I don't know if tape will register as foil or not. Irecently lost mine I will secure the next one with an elastic cord.

Wrapped mine in red vet tape. Covers the speaker slots and switch as well, to keep dirt/mud out.

You mean like this... Orange duct tape ftw ... but why not sell them in bright colors?

I never said stop selling the black ones. But why not offer the consumer a choice of black or orange? As for unwanted attention, I think the 4 foot metal detector is going to draw more attention then a 9 inch pro pointer.

They don't want to stock 20 different colors and have them sit around forever not being bought when 50 cents worth of tape will make them any color you want.

I guess that black plastic is cheaper than colored plastic.

Black is fine do we have to have every thing made in different colors WHY… LIKE A LOT SAID HERE AND WHAT I DO IS PUT A BRIGHT COLORED TAPE AROUND IT… MY MY . DON'T WE JUST CRY ABOUT EVERY THING NOW A DAYS..

I like this idea for finding it and also if it's dark, you get approached by the law and have the pointer in your hand it could look like a firearm. If it was red or orange you'd have a less jumpy officer.

Its fine, buy yours in solid black.. heck buy yours in camo paint, I would like the option for ORANGE.. some bight piece of sh*t I can see from a mile away when I forget it. Heck for that mater add GLOW in THE DARK

They make all kinds of colored electrical tape. Yellow or orange phase tape works wonders if ya happen to leave it at your last hole.
