George 5 1931 cent

Hi all, a friend at work got this cent in change and wondered if it was worth more then face. I told him 5 or 10 cents. Just a guess if it wasn't a special date. Someone else told him 25 cents. So he offered it to me for 25 cents. Did I make a good buy? It's got some shine to it and very little wear.
