They say lighting doesn't strike in the place twice, well it struck today again . I got ANOTHER new permission yesterday and went there today and out popped this beauty! I cant believe I have dug two great pieces of history in the last week. I got it on video too but it will be awhile before I post that don't wont anybody getting any ideas ! I cant believe it............ I finally joined the Washington club. This is another priceless treasure to me . Thanks for looking. What a magnificent find! Congratulations are in order for sure! About the R-Value of 6 ...It must have a R Value greater than 6. Heck a general service button in Albert's book, of which there were many thousands or more, has an RV of one. The hard rubber general service buttons carry an RV of 20. I know there must have been way more rubber general service buttons out than there were George Washington buttons like yours. An R value of 6 must be incorrect unless I am missing something.

In Albert's book the Washington Inaugural buttons were not assigned the RV number due to scarcity. Instead, they were given a rarity scale from R-1 to R-7. On this scale, an R-6 indicates 3-5 known specimens. Hope this helps....

My Bad .. I had forgotten about that. Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks for the comments about banner but TNET has a rule about banners only one in 6 months. Also thanks Keith for clearing that up.

Amazing button! Banner for sure! When it's that rare who cares about the rules.

That's a banner for sure. Incredible find. Congratulations and thanks for sharing. The video was cool as well.

Dude! You are on fire. A GW button!! Another find in a life time, I gota start getting back in my AGame.. Congrats on a awesome find!

Thanks , you know how it goes streaks come and go but I'm loving this one......

I have seen GW's posted but never that variety. Awesome find!

Congrats on the significant recovery! You are on a roll, keep it going!

That's a variety I don't remember seeing before - outstanding recovery!!

If the rule still exists that someone can't have two finds on the banner at the same time I think this should be the one to correct something that really doesn't seem to make sense. The usual GW buttons that get posted are over-rated in my opinion...because they simply are not that rare. But this button most certainly is! Like others have suggested they knew it was different, as did I, and I was fairly sure it was going to be something very special.

That rule still exists....... Thanks for the comments.
