george washinton inaugural rattlesnake button

I havent been able to get out this year much but i decided to go try button field since they just tilled it ,the day started out with about 15 shotgun shells and a bunch of can slaw etc...i was ready to head back so i took the old wagon trail back more shells and slaw and plow parts then i get a cool button and another and another and another then i get this weird button unlike any i have seen all 5 buttons are awesome i love finding them with a design on them so i get home and hunt for the snake button and i was like are u kidding me my first george washinton inaugural button. i dont know much about the other buttons if anyone has any info on them...ty for looking

Yeah not a GW... but I'm sure a bucket list item for many relic hunters. Would be for me if I thought there was a reasonable chance.

Maybe not a GW button but to me it's right up there as just as cool. Those buttons are on my bucket list and yours is in great condition. Congratulations.

Definitely a cool late 18th century patriotic button. I love the rattlesnake buttons and wish I could afford to assemble a collection of all the different varieties. I have been lucky enough to dig two of the Rattlesnake and Stars variety.

This probably won't get the attention it deserves, but for relic hunters these patriotic buttons are up there with gold coins. Fortunate to have a cuff variety in my display, great find
