The gent I took down there 2 weeks ago found TWO of them. I've been hunting it nigh on six years now.:BangHead:

History of the meadows goes back to 1635.

Are they Martagon lillies?

I was surprised when my neighbor found a reale. I did some research and found out that it was legal tender up till 1850. With the history of the meadows goes that far back, I'm thinking you have a real good shot at finding more. Keep on swinging!

Nice photos. Thanks for sharing.

I'd recognize the name if I heard it again..not it. I have pulled a lot of goodies out of there, including GOLD and SILVER,best part is "My own private me only spot".:laughing7::laughing9:

I think they are Canada lilies, I dug some up in upstate NY. I originally thought they were Turks Cap Lilies, but the stem is a little different from them.

Pretty shot of those hanging whatever they are flowers. I think you best go hunting that meadow by yourself. Hate to see what might happen, if that hunting pard of yours turns up any gold doubloons in those meadows
