Buddy, I guess it is maybe from 3rd Reich but I think much earlier. May around WWI

It shows the german Reich flag (which has nothing to do with the Nazis at all!) and the Iron cross. Maybe it is a ring from a 1st WW soldier who got the Iron cross in the war.

My grandpa had something similar as a pin because he lost all his medals in the Rheinwiesenlager / camp as POW.

I found it metal detecting in a lady's yard,I showed Her and She said it was Her Grandfathers and I could keep it.

I sure would like to have all the silver back I found back then!
