I hope to do some beach detecting some day. Looks like fun and a whole lot easier digging. Did the kids have fun?

Yeah WD
Beach detecting is a lot easier digging than dirt. Targets also can be deeper especially if they rake the beach from time to time. And yes the grands had a big time at the beach. One of my pics didn't turn out on the pics. There are the twins that didn't show in the pics. They ran wild. Had a ball. We are going to make it a semi annual event we think as long as the son is stationed at Pensacola Naval base.

We could go up to Hillbilly Prince place one weekend to dine and metal detect his beach front. 30f9b5f003ea5274059ba49fd75d0c73.jpg

That even sounds odd. IDK I know nothing about jewelry.

I do know that it looks old
its not my mom’s ring size too small
there are no numbers or letters that I can see
if I decide to wear it, I could give someone one heck of a black eye

We at one time were having some inherited jewelry appraised. We didn't know it at the time but they were going to charge 45 bucks a ring or piece. I told the bride he'll no. The insurance just told us to estimate sense we knew what was real diamonds and not. But now I've got a friend helping at the jewelry store in the village that appraises for free.
