The goose in flight came out as a real winner ODPA, It's one spectacular shot imo. :thumbsup:

OD, the shot of the goose is outstanding....worthy of bring printed on canvas and hung
properly on a wall in common view. Well done!

The Pileated Woodpecker is a rare creature these days, and they aren't
particularly fond of human company..lol Did find one many years back
that was rather photogenic.
 
How in the world did you get that focus on the flying goose? Outstanding.

It's the law of averages. I take so many pics, I am bound to get lucky once in awhile!

Thanks OV. I use a Canon EOS SL1 body. That day I was using my Sigma 170-500mm lens. I probably use that lens 90-95% of the time when outdoors looking for wildlife.
