A small town about 10 minutes from me is adding a spray park to their city park. I?ve been monitoring their progress. Today I saw on their Facebook that construction had started. An afternoon drive-by didn?t look to promising just a scrape. From the street it look like they just torn the lawn up. The scrape ended up being 6 inches down at its deepest.

Maybe my best hunt ever. I dug more wheats than modern coins. Two Barbers and two Mercs. Three Indians and a whopping 19 wheats. Ring on left of photo is marked sterling. My favorite find is a sterling spoon bowl featuring Teddy B and Teddy G. They appear to be two Theodore Roosevelt era children?s characters. The break was old and the handle was no where to be found.

Way to work it. The handle to the spoon could have been made into a ring. Good luck next time out!
