Went to a local beach today with my AT MAX for some under water detecting went out about waste deep and started
Plenty of trash and then Buzingga i hit the big one Gold and Diamonds its not the biggest one if ever found but i sure was happy with it until i came home and made the mistake of showing it to the wife and as fast as i found it it was gone, She put it on her finger and it fit perfect.
Well at least i have a picture of it. I will know better next time not to show it to her.
I stopped at my local jewelry store and had it checked its real 14k and 13 Diamonds.

Other good find was a engraved zippo and some clad coins.

Lighter says love Sue on one side and 12-30-79 on other

I remember when I took my girl metal detecting for the first time... after much talk about what could be found she was interested but not "gung ho"...

So the first day she is digging caps and crap all day... she is ready to quit and write off detecting as something HE does and she watches.

Then came the small silver ring with a pearl and a couple small diamonds.

That was it.

She was a digging fool after that. heh

Congrats Swinger, brilliant, just brilliant!

I once found a large Egyptian cartouche amulet at a yard sale. I brought it home and dumped it on the table with all the earing nuts and stuff I'd found that day. My wife admired it and said "I'd like to have this?". I said "But Betsy, it's the name Ezelle!" she said "Who do you think will be able to reed it?" Every time she wears it, I have to chuckle.
