Gold Dry Spell Broke After 157 Days 14K 6 Diamonds 14.6 Grams

My 157DayGold Dry Spell Broke Today with this soccer field find 14K 6 Diamonds 14.6 grams man's ring. I hunt mostly Beach and shallow water. But have been trying to get the hang of my New Sovereign GT. Today I wandered to the soccer field I have hunted on occasion. The amount of trash is amazing so I started to dig numbers on the meter that have come to be a coin.The first hr produce several pennies and a couple of clad dimes and quarters and trash. I really wanted to get the pin pointing down with the 10 inch coil. I moved to the other side and started towards the sideline of the older field. I passed up several targets that just were too scratchy and were low foil numbers. About 6 feet from the corner I got a solid 177 on the meter today that was coming up penny. This was the first target I dug since moving. I cut the flap and pull back the grass the target was still in the hole. I dug it up a little and pull a hang full of dirt out. I checked the hole with the pin pointer, nothing? Dug some more nothing checked again nothing. Looked at the little pile of dirt and then saw the ring sticking out. I push the pin pointer at it and there she was. Check out the pictures. It was worth the wait. I am stoked. Oh ya I dug every signal in a 40 foot area. Look at that trash pile!

It very well could be an older ring Rae.The workmanship leads me to believe it's older. I a will take it to my jeweler on Sunday she has always been good to me and my finds. But maybe at work today I'll stop by another to see what he says. I will be putting the five coil on and heading back through the trash.
Thanks to all who responded will great comments I wish I could have seen my face. I have been telling my wife I was going to find something great at that soccer field.This is probably the best ring I found in 38 yrs My wife thinks NOT as it doesn't go on here finger! LOL!
