gold encase green stone with hebrew text.

Found this metal detecting in shropshire uk. I have no idea what or when it is from. It's a green stone encased in gold with what looks like some hebrew text on it.
It looks like it has been encased in gold and marked at some later stage. The round connecting gold ring has 56ad engraved in it

I think the A in AD looks like a backwards R, that might mean the cyrillic or Russian alphabet. Just a wild guess on my part. Nice find!

Thanks everyone. Yeah pretty happy with that one nice to have a little mystery . Definitely looks like it Russian and taking a closer look at my photos the 56 is a russian imperial gold mark.
