Gold Ikes

Went to all sorts of banks today, only found a single 40%. Better than nothing, though! I got my hopes up though, because I found 2 of the $20 shotgun rolls, but alas they were all clad.

I did find 3 of the gold-plated eisenhower dollars - worth keeping? Along with those, got 4 gold-plated bicentennial half dollars.

I also found a bunch of foreign coins, and 5 steel wheat pennies on one of the magnets in the coin counter

No added value over face on the gold plated coins.

Novelty only. I have had lots of people find different coins from SBA to State Quarters gold plated and they wonder if they have scored. Sorry for the letdown. It would be nice though!! I have even had people think the "Golden" dollars with Sacagawea believe they actually have gold content. Same for the "painted" silver Eagles with different sports figures or patriotic themed colored obverse.
