If it was true, the Civil War bars should be silver. The search area probably is still dry land and not actually in Lake Michigan waters. In years past treasure hunters searched for the shipment of bars. If the bars were found, the finders were all tight liooed keeping it a secret.
The theory they have is very complex. I could understand the powerful guys putting something together, but this was a stretch.
Kind of crazy how that show didn’t continue and neither did Coopers Treasures. I could see the cooper show continuing.
