Detector(s) used
GARRETT AT PRO, EQUINOX 800
Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
I did not expect to find much on this quick evening hunt. My boy was fishing and I thought I would just poke around with my detector. He unfortunately did not catch anything but I did! On top of a small hill I got a solid 48 signal on my AT Pro from all directions and this beauty popped out from 4 inches down. A 14 k gold ring.

I think I can see blue and green in the stone. An opal maybe? Great find and much better than a fish. You can't eat the ring though. Gary

What a beautiful looking gold ring, love to see a pic of it all washed up.

Congrats on your find,
Dave

Well done on the recovery of the ring, the stone looks like an Opal.

Sweet ring!! That's what I like about this hobby, you never know "what or where".
